Our Best Days are Today and Tomorrow

Yesterday, I asked my 5-year old granddaughter if it was the best day of her life.  She said “I don’t know.  Is today your best day?”  “Yes”, I said, “and tomorrow will be even better”.

She asked me how I knew that and I told her that I wake up every morning thinking the day has the possibility to be the best day of my life.  That way, I’m always looking forward.

Such was the day I first learned about A Stepping Stone Foundation (SSF).  The more I learn, the more I love!  Now I am eager to help realize the vision and mission of SSF – to reach more preschoolers, support more parents, and nurture their younger siblings’ aspirations.

I am a fundraiser.  That is someone who helps raise money for an organization or a cause.  I am good at my job, because I believe the best fundraisers help create new money AND new relationships.  Over the next year, I hope to meet many of you, learn why YOU love A Stepping Stone, and how we can work together to best secure a long-range future for them.
