A Stepping Stone Foundation Blog
Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow
2013 brings changes to A Stepping Stone. In this post, I’d like to say goodbye to Lead Teacher Fran Smith and Assistant Teacher, Veronica Dozal.
In photo to the LEFT: Saying Goodbye. Two of our best move on to new things.
Pictured from left top; Veronica Dozal, Fran Smith with Past President, Bev Carroll.
Lead teacher Fran Smith, who began her Stepping Stone teaching in the fall of 2009, and taught preschool for many years before her Stepping Stone tenure, has retired. She looks forward to trips to be with family in Hawaii and promised to help us out in any way she could.
Assistant Teacher, Veronica Dozal, who began her Stepping Stone years at the Granada site and then taught with Mrs. Smith at Westwood has also resigned so she can work year-round. She is changing careers.
Bev Carroll is not leaving us, but is now our immediate Past President and will continue to serve on the Stepping Stone Board.
We wish our former teachers the best of luck in their new endeavors and look forward to having them continue to help A Stepping Stone children and families in their new roles as supporters.
