“Learn to Learn Forever”

The Phoenix Business Journal reported today that while Carlos Slim Helu,  one of the wealthiest men in the world, addressed Business Journal guests yesterday, he stated that education was a very important economic force in a healthy economy.  The Journal quoted Slim Helu as saying, “We need to learn to learn forever.”  See the full article here.

This is one more powerful testimony in favor of education and not just ANY education.  Just like A Stepping Stone Foundation, who intentionally fosters children’s imagination and natural passion for learning, Mr. Slim Helu emphasizes the need to value life-long learning.  Kudos to the Phoenix Business Journal for helping to bring Mr. Slim Helu to Phoenix and kudos to Slim Helu for recognizing life-long learning is THAT important!
